Preparation for Government Grants

Atlanta Korean Senior Citizen Association (President, Nam Sang-ho), founded in Georgia in July 1996 with the aim of promoting the happiness, health, and overall well-being of Korean seniors in Atlanta, was approved as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization by the federal government in 2011. In celebration of the upcoming lunar new year, the association is planning and pursuing the following businesses to take a new leap in 2023.

Preparation for Government Grants: The association is preparing to apply for long-awaited government and corporate grants with experienced volunteers. They have already completed the application for the first step of the award management system and are waiting for approval. In addition, the association, which has established itself as an official food bank agent in Atlanta for Korean seniors, supplying 300-350 food supplies every week, is planning to expand its workforce and quantity through government grants.
