The Korean American Association Of Greater Atlanta
We’re here to provide support and assistance to those who need it most—to ensure that senior people can continue to live their lives to the fullest!

Learn About Us
The challenges faced by seniors in their later years include poverty, health problems, loss of roles, and psychological conflicts. Addressing these issues becomes a crucial task for society as a whole. The government and social organizations must work together to enable seniors to live independently and improve their quality of life. Seniors often experience physical and mental decline, which leads to a decrease in their social and economic status. Feelings of loneliness and alienation further contribute to their emotional instability.
Additionally, early retirement, inadequate retirement planning, and the presence of senile diseases exacerbate their struggles. The government has implemented various welfare policies to support the elderly, but there is a lack of understanding and clear communication channels, particularly when it comes to improving the lives of elderly immigrants. As a result, the current system has limitations in ensuring a stable retirement for immigrant seniors.
Our Mission
In all our endeavors, our goal is to honor the unique experiences and contributions of Korean American seniors in Atlanta and celebrate their rich culture and heritage.
Helping the Greater Community of Atlanta
Our Experiences
Since 2020, our senior management leader has collaborated with HUD and Gwinnett County on various projects, notably the Rapid Re-housing and Homeless Prevention program. These initiatives come with comprehensive requirements and regulations from both HUD and the county.
To ensure compliance and timely reporting, our team diligently organizes all relevant documents, such as expenses and timesheets, and submits them promptly for monthly reports. Our Executive Director, with over 30 years of administration experience, and our VP, with over 30 years of finance sector expertise, understand the criticality of meeting these reporting requirements and maintaining an organized approach to project management.
